Intradistrict Transfers
INTRADISTRICT TRANSFER INFORMATION
An intradistrict transfer/open enrollment is when parents/guardians wish to register/admit/enroll their student(s) at a San Dieguito Union High School District (SDUHSD) school other than the designated school that is in their attendance area within their district.
California Education Code Section 35160.5(b) permits parents to indicate a preference for the school which their student will attend, irrespective of the student's place of residence within the district, and requires the district to honor this parental preference if the school has sufficient capacity and staff without displacing other currently enrolled students. A pupil who currently resides in the attendance area of a school shall not be displaced by pupils transferring from outside the attendance area.
*PLEASE NOTE*
Your student's designated school boundary is based on where you reside, not what elementary school your student presently attends. Please check the district's school locator boundary map for your boundary school.
